Diljit Dosanjh made the most news this year by bringing his Dil-luminati tour to India. The singer kicked off his tour in Delhi on October 26. He further made headlines after the Telangana government banned him from singing songs including references to alcohol, drugs, and violence. The singer later tweaked the lyrics of the song but also took a dig at the government by saying that the rules do not apply to foreign singers and that some people cannot digest his success.

Govinda made headlines after he misfired his own bullet. Govinda was rushed to the hospital on October 1 after his licensed revolver allegedly misfired, resulting in a bullet wound to his knee. The unfortunate incident occurred early in the morning at approximately 4:45 a.m. According to the Mumbai Police, Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata and was putting his revolver back in the cupboard when it accidentally discharged.

Vikrant Massey recently caught eyeballs when he announced a break from the film industry. His post was misinterpreted, and people assumed he was announcing his retirement, but Vikrant Massey later clarified that he did not plan to retire from acting and asserted that people misread his post. The actor specified that his health had gone for a toss and he missed home, so he intended to take a long break.

This entire year was full of rumours about Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's divorce, and the couple made several headlines. From Aishwarya and Abhishek attending Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s wedding separately to Abhishek not accompanying her to the Ganpati pandal darshan, netizens noticed it all. However, recently, the couple attended a family function together, and Abhishek even praised Aishwarya for being there at home, which has convinced netizens that divorce is off the chart.

Rupali Ganguly made headlines after her stepdaughter called her a homewrecker. The actress further sued her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, for defamation. The Anupamaa actor is seeking Rs 50 crore in compensation for being called a homewrecker. Esha had not only accused the actor of disrupting her parents’ marriage but also claimed that she abused Esha’s mother. She had also alleged that Rupali separated her from her father, Ashwin K. Verma

Malaika Arora is another actress who made a lot of headlines this year. First, reports came out that the actress had parted ways with her longtime boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor. Later, everyone was shocked when the news broke that her father, Anil Mehta, allegedly died by suicide on September 11, 2024. Later, another shocking piece of news came when Arjun Kapoor officially announced their breakup.

Salman Khan has been the center of attention this entire year. The seriousness began when someone opened fire outside his house, Galaxy. Later, he received multiple death threats following the murder of his close friend and politician, Baba Siddique. After multiple death threats, Salman’s security was enhanced, and recently, a security breach occurred earlier this month when a man managed to enter the set of one of Salman’s projects in Mumbai
