ABHISHEK BACHCHAN IS NOT A WORKAHOLIC. "But the industry has made me one," complains the actor, who's busy working on a couple of projects. The actor's fifth marriage anniversary is just around the corner but Abhishek has no time for a romantic holiday with his lady love, Aishwarya. He tells CS, "I simply don't have the time for a vacation this year. After the release of my next film, I am leaving for an outdoor shoot of Abbas-Mustan's Players. I am sure Aishwarya and my parents will understand my predicament as they all are Bollywood actors." CS spoke to Abhishek about growing up in a film family and his choices as an actor:

Strictly family time
Though I come from a family of actors, films and work were never discussed on the dinner table. In fact, such conversations were banned by my mom, and she was very strict about it. With dad being caught up in non-stop shooting schedules, family time was scarce and precious. So, there was no chance of mom letting work take precedence in that break. But now, since we are all in the industry, it's virtually impossible not discuss to work/films but the rule is still applicable. Nowadays, we hardly get the time to be together as a family with our work commitments. So whenever all of us get-together it's a like a big family vacation. And filmy conversations are taboo on such occasions. So the rule is now followed even more strictly.

Filmy take
Films are dear to me. And there's no such thing as my favourite film. You will never hear me saying that I have high expectations from a particular film. All films are a part of me and I have high expectations from each one of them. Films have to do well not only to make moolah, but also because a lot of effort, energy, manpower and time goes into making a film. People say that I have been experimenting with roles like Dostana, Raavan, Yuva, but I don't agree. I have never got on with my career saying that I haven't done an XYZ genre, so let me try it now. I have done a film whenever a script has excited me. This is the also the reason why I do not have a dream role.

No scary stuff
I am a complete film buff. I enjoy all genres of cinema and I worked in varied kinds of films, except horror. I don't like horror and I don't think I will ever try acting in a pure horror flick. I find them scary and gruesome. I don't remember seeing a single horror film nor would I like to act in one. I can manage with thrillers, murder mysteries and suspense, but horror isn't my cup of tea.
