Unlike many stars who prefer not to interact with fans and the aam janta during their shoot schedules, Aamir Khan apparently went one step ahead during the shoot of his film helmed by Reema Kagti.u00a0The actor not only hobnobbed with the locals at Mumbai Central, where he was shooting, he also visited the homes of a few lucky ones, to share a meal with them.
Our source from the sets says, "Aamir was shooting in one of the slum areas of Mumbai Central. People from the neighbourhood societies dropped by at regular intervals and even invited the actor home. The actor happily obliged a few of them by visiting them at their homes to have a chat over a cup of tea, biscuits and kanda poha."
The source adds that the main reason why Aamir agreed to visit his newfound âneighbours' was to thank them for putting up with the shoot schedules, night after night. "After all, it was not possible to shoot there for so long if the local people had not cooperated with them," sums up the source.
