Actor Akshay Kumar has got word 'Blue' inked on his neck for his upcoming underwater action caper 'Blue'.
The actor, who has got his son Aarav's name tattooed on his back, decided to add to his body art at the advice of director Anthony D'Souza.
Akshay plays the character of a rich businessman who is obsessed with money and thirsts for more.
He does not hesitate to flaunt his arrogance and status, the director said. D'Souza's believes that the tattoo will add extra edge to Akshay's character, which is called 'Aarav' in the movie.

"It was a brilliant idea to have 'Blue' tattooed on the back of Akshay's neck as it has added that extra edge to his character. And it was sheer presence of mind to call Akshay's character 'Aarav' as he had already inked his son's name on his back," the filmmaker said adding that the significance of 'Blue' doesn't end here.
"Akshay even owns a business called 'Blue Shipping & Fisheries'," D'Souza added.
Produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd, the adventure film, which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Lara Dutta, promises breathtaking underwater sequences.
