Says a source, "Normally, the royal family organises screening of folk stories and hence, permission had to be taken to show the first song from Deepika's next. It was, perhaps, the first time that any film content was shown at the palace; 100-odd guests were in attendance. Post that, the actress sat down for a royal feast with the princess."

Since it was an impromptu invitation, the film crew, including director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and lead actor Ranveer could not make it to Jaipur. Bhansali and Ranveer are currently winding up the shoot in Bhor, Pune. "It was a sweet gesture on the princess' part to invite Deepika over for a special dinner. However, the rest of the cast and crew members could not partake of the feast as the invitation was unanticipated," adds another source.
