"Right now my focus is on feature films but documentaries are like raw material from which I get ideas and motivation. I base my films on reality and I'm definitely going back to making documentaries. I am not leaving them...they are my passion," Khan said.

Khan, who made his directorial debut with "Kabul Express" (2006), has earlier made two critically acclaimed documentaries -- "The Forgotten Army" (1999) and "The Journalist and the Jihadi: The Murder of Daniel Pearl" (2006).
