>> Its motorcycle brand is now known as BMW Motorrad. Their first successful motorcycle, after the failed Helios and Flink, was the R32 in 1923.
>> The circular blue and white BMW logo or roundel is portrayed as the movement of an aircraft propeller, to signify the white blades cutting through the blue sky.
>> It also owns and produces the Mini brand, and is the parent company of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
>> According to BMW's annual reports in 2009, 1,068,770 vehicles were sold in all markets.
