Akshay Kumar has found a fan in director Rituparno Ghosh who feels his acting skills go unnoticed and says he is the most underrated actor in Bollywood.
"I saw 'Desi Boyz' yesterday and cannot help thinking that Akshay Kumar is one of the most underrated actors in Bollywood," Ghosh posted on Twitter.
"I dn't think mch abt the film. But his performance in 'Desi Boyz' is subtle, mature and worthy of acclaim - he deserves a wider range of roles," he wrote.
Ghosh, who has directed films like "Chokher Bali" and "Raincoat", feels that the 44-year-old might be known for flexible action and perfect comical timings, but there is more in him which is royally ignored.
