Shopping's no fun for Shahana

This ought to be news! CS actually came across a woman celebrity who doesn't enjoy shopping! Here's introducing a woman who thinks that shopping is no therapy Shahana Goswami.

I'm far from being a shopaholic. In fact, I go shopping only when there's a dire need for me to do so. And on the rare occasions when I do set out, I'm on a mission to only get what's on my shopping list. Buying clothes is a complete bane, especially because I hate the idea of trying them on. When I'm abroad, I stay away from the malls. I'd rather spend my money on food, and my time trying out different types of cuisine.

If you were to ask me what is next on my shopping wishlist, I'd say nothing. I don't know much about what's trendy or sought-after to have any such fantasy. But I do get a little excited about buying shoes, jewellery and sarees. I also like dressing up for these Indian dos where you can don a saree and team it with ethnic jewellery. But otherwise, I'm not too fond of decking up. I think it requires too much coordination and effort!

Quick buys
I'm not at all brand conscious. If something catches my eye (though that rarely happens), I don't mind picking it up, as long as it looks comfortable and durable. On second thoughts, I might even buy it if it isn't durable because I know that I'll lose interest in it eventually.
