The course helps one alter fixed perceptions about others and life.
Says Sunaina, "We were there for only two days but it has been a life-changing experience for me. It is so calm and serene there. What's unique about Oneness is that you can belong to different religions, you come with your set of beliefs, eventually it is about finding lasting peace and harmony not only between human beings but also between humanity and nature."
IntroductionsThe star sister was introduced to the Oneness movement by restaurateur Timmy Narang (Isha Koppikar's beau). Pinky got to know about it from actress Smita Jaykar.
"Both of us heard about it independently and were keen to savour the experience," points out Sunaina. "In fact, we just called the folks there and made our plans suddenly. Had I known what an experience it would be, I would have made a longer plan to stay on."
She adds, "I am a totally new person. It is a divine experience. I plan to go back soon for a more enriching experience."
Freeze factorAbout her encounter with the spiritual leader Sri Bhagwan she says, "I just froze. He told me I had a pure soul and that I was very child-like. He added that Michael Jackson, who had also attended a oneness session in the US was also childlike!"u00a0 It is learnt that the Roshan women had carried some photos of Hrithik and Rakesh for blessings. When the snapshots were shown to Sri Bhagwan, he remarked that Hrithik looks like a Hollywood star! He also remembered seeing the actor in a cola ad.
Adds Sunaina, "The Oneness facilitators have now become like my extended family. I am still in touch with them."
On Tuesday night, Sunaina and Pinky left for a holiday to Singapore. "We had planned this trip in advance and once we are back after a week, I intend being part of the Oneness experience again."
What oneness isThe Oneness University was set up in 1996 by co-founders Sri Bhagavan and his wife, Sri Amma. It has centers and facilitators all over the world. It is a place where people from all over the world can awaken and return to their original state of oneness with all that is.
