It's Bengal's most acclaimed filmmaker, Rituparno Ghosh, who gears up to take on Katrina Kaif this coming Friday as Ritu Ki Kahani takes on Sheila Ki JawaniNext Friday, one of Bengali cinema's most prominent filmmakers will make his acting debut in Kaushik Ganguly's Just Another Love Story. It's a mainstream Bengali film depicting a homosexual relationship between a filmmaker (played by Rituparno Ghosh) and a bi-sexual cinematographer (played by Indraneil Sengupta).

Controversial gay content aside, the film has created a lot of buzz for Ghosh who turns actor with this film. Ghosh is tickled pink by the fact that his film will take on Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan at the box office in Kolkata, with both films releasing the same Friday.
"So, it's Tees Maar Khan versus Just Another Love Story and Sheila Ki Jawani versus Ritu Ki Kahani," says Ghosh, who refused to divulge details about the film and only said that Indraneil Sengupta is very convincing as Ghosh's on-screen lover.
Playing a homosexual wasn't easy for Sengupta, who is married to televisionu00a0 actress Barkha Bisht.
Sengupta showed the film to his wife, to see if she was okay with the intimate sequences.
"She said she hasn't seen me more passionate.u00a0 Once I was in front of the camera, Iu00a0 forgot my sexual preference," says Sengupta.
"I had no qualms about playing a bisexual character but I was worried about the on-screen intimacy. My wife knows I am inhibited to even play heterosexual love scenes," he adds.
