Anindita Bosé
Anindita Bose speaks to mid-day.com as she plans a trip to Jim Corbett National Park that will drive away your Monday blues! Join her on the ride.
Where are you off to today?
Jim Corbett has by far been my most favourite holiday destination. I love disappearing in these jungles.
What's on the itinerary?
The safaris of course. Long spas at the hotel, finding a favourite spot and cozying up with a book and of course trekking. Definitely wake up early. You don't want to miss that beautiful sunrise in the jungle. Put 20 alarms if needed. Also please don't litter while you're in there.
What's on the menu?
I don't know if there's a special or local cuisine as such but they did have a great spread of kebabs which I devoured every day, happily and without guilt.

Your fondest memories with friends and family...
Fondest memory would be going on a trek and bike ride with my dad. It was a beautiful morning and the weather was perfect.
The craziest thing you did there?
I did manage to lose my phone while on a Safari. Must have slipped from my pocket at some point. This was not the crazy bit. Crazy bit was that someone later found it in that vast jungle and my phone was returned to me. Clearly my phone has an attachment issue with me.
What are you packing for the trip?
Comfortable clothes mainly. Tracks, tees and of course my special jungle safari hat. I make sure to carry khakhi jackets. Easy to blend in while on that safari. Sunscreen, camera and boots or sneakers.
