Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has previously appeared on television shows to promote her films, is all set for her new role. The actor is playing a narrator in the new show, Spy Bahu. In the promo of the romantic comedy she shot recently, the actor introduces the lead characters, Sejal, played by Sana Sayyad and Yohan, portrayed by Sehban Azim. "I'm a big admirer of love stories, who isn't?" says Bebo, adding, "Spy Bahu is a fascinating love story of a spy Sejal, and a suspected terrorist Yohan, which has left me captivated. I'm sure the audience will love their chemistry and enjoy this power-packed show."
When she's not acting in front of the camera, Bhumi Pednekar is a climate change advocate spearheading the social media initiative, Climate Warrior, which aims at increasing awareness towards protecting nature. Today, she will speak to the students of Harvard University in an online seminar and highlight why the youth of today needs to be more vocal about climate change. The actor took up the initiative to create as much awareness as possible around sustainability as a way of life and how climate change is going to impact all our lives. She says, "I'm happy to see that people are paying attention to what can happen if we don't address the issue of climate change and they are making small changes in their lives to conserve." Honoured by the invite to speak at the prestigious university, Bhumi adds, "It will be amazing to share how I have grown as a human being in my journey to be an advocate for climate protection. I would want to appeal to each and every citizen of the world to become climate warriors and Harvard University is a great platform to connect with the future of this world and urge them to also make a difference at their individual level."

Deepika Padukone has confirmed that she is working on the biopic of her father and former Indian badminton champion, Prakash Padukone. On Cyrus Broacha's chat show, the actor said, "Actually, even before 83 happened, he [Prakash Padukone] was one of the first athletes to put India on the global map as far as sport is concerned. He won the World Championship in 1981, which was obviously before 1983." Talking about her father's struggle. Deepika added, "He trained in a marriage hall, which was his badminton court. If he had the facilities that athletes in India have today, then he'd be far more superior."

The Looop Lapeta actor attributes the idea to his seeking out in-depth conversations with brilliant creative minds during his growing up years as a film enthusiast and the social media boom in recent years. "I'm sure there are many like me, actors or film lovers, who'd love to hear what goes on in an actor's mind before a scene is shot, what are the unique preparation methods, all from the horse's mouth," says Tahir, who has been toying with the idea of creating a platform like this for a while. He adds that the show will also enable him to speak with his colleagues and delve in detail how they deliver magic on screen. Tahir kicks off his chat show with Shweta Tripathi, with whom he had "the good fortune to be paired opposite" in the web series, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein.
