The Sarfarosh team celebrated its 25th year on Friday. Sharing that he has been trying to make a sequel to the film, lead actor Aamir Khan said, "I've been telling director John Matthew Mathan for many years to make Sarfarosh 2. The film ended in such a way that we could make part two. I've told John that if he writes a good story, then we can make the sequel." Apparently, the filmmaker later told Aamir that he was working on something. The actor added, "I can commit one thing, we'll definitely give it a serious shot now, coming up with the right script and the right kind of film for [part two]." The actor plays an upright cop, Ajay Singh Rathod, whose life takes a turn when he discovers a huge conspiracy while investigating the arms smuggling ring in Rajasthan. Conceding that he couldn't believe that Sarfarosh had completed a quarter of a century, Aamir said, "The film is still fresh in my mind, and it seems it was released two or four years ago. I've seen this film a lot of times, [although] it's been a while. I bet if we release this film in theatres, the audience will again come to see it."
Buddies Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar got together for dinner on Friday night. They were accompanied by Saba Azad and Shibani Dandekar Akhtar, respectively. As pictures of their double date made their way on social media, netizens couldn't help feeling the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) vibes. "It is Arjun and Imran's reunion, reminding me of ZNMD," wrote a user, alluding to the characters of Hrithik and Farhan, respectively, played in director Zoya Akhtar's
2011 hit that also featured Abhay Deol and Katrina Kaif.

In keeping with Mother's Day today, the makers of the globally loved animated franchise, Boonie Bears, released their latest offering, Boonie Bears - Guardian Code, in English and Hindi across India. Thrilled to bring the franchise to Indian theatres, Rajat Agrawal, director, Ultra Media & Entertainment Group, said, "The emotional quotient of the film will resonate with the Indian audience. We have also been observing that there is a dearth of good films for children in India. Hence, we strategically timed the release to sync it with the summer vacation of the children." The international franchise has evolved into a highly cherished animated universe with 10 films and an extensive television series spanning 11 seasons with 728 episodes worldwide since its debut in January 2012. Alongside it, Boonie Bears has also expanded its reach with five books, further enriching its immersive universe.
