Shekhar Suman and Kangana Ranaut
In the world of politics, absolutely anything can happen! A day after it was announced that Shekhar Suman would join the BJP, he said he would happily campaign for Kangana Ranaut, also a party member, if she requested it. The Suman family's beef with Ranaut is well-known after the former publicised how the Tanu Weds Manu actor had ruined Shekhar's son Adhyayan's life when their relationship turned sour. "If she invites me, then why wouldn't I go? This is my duty, and my right as well," Suman was heard stating. Earlier, Adhyayan had wished Ranaut well for her political career. "She has done really well in her career as an actor, and I wish her the best for her political career as well," he had said.
After a video of a 10-year-old boy who sells rolls to make a living after his father's demise went viral, Arjun Kapoor offered to provide educational support. The actor extended his support to the boy and his sister. "With a smile on his face, he's facing life. I salute him for having the courage to stand up on his own feet and take over his father's work within 10 days of his passing. I would love to help him out with his or his sister's education; if anyone knows about his whereabouts, let me know."

Diljit Dosanjh has responded to a rapper who criticised him for sporting short hair. While sharing the picture of Dosanjh, the rapper referenced a line crooned by the Amar Singh Chamkila actor, and wrote, "You're not Punjab. Go and learn how to tie a turban." He subsequently shared stories of those who responded positively to his post. Dosanjh, however, reacted to the trolling with well-wishes. "May almighty give you lots of fame, and may you do more work," he wrote in response.
Sonam K Ahuja, who has often spoken about the joys of marriage, celebrated her sixth wedding anniversary with Anand. The actor took to social media to pen a note for her husband, sharing, "Your unconditional love and support are my anchor and safe place. Marrying you was the best choice I've ever made, and every day with you feels like heaven. I love you more than words can express."
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has wrapped up the shoot of her next film, Heads of State, which, she revealed, will be releasing digitally. She took to social media to share a reel featuring moments from the film's set. "And it's a wrap. It's been a year [since we began]. A lot happened, but here we are. Tonight, I wrapped on a set that was always so full of laughter and professionalism. That rare combination isn't always seen," she wrote, adding that the movie was a "breeze because the cast and crew came prepared with their A game". "It's been an honour to work with some legends in our business on this one. Hope you all have as much fun watching it as we did making it." Heads of State is an action comedy that also stars Idris Elba and John Cena.
Karan Johar took a stroll down memory lane and recalled the making of the song, Kal ho na ho, picturised on Shah Rukh Khan. He expressed his gratitude to veteran lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar, singer Sonu Nigam and the composers Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, who created it. "[It's] a song that is about hope, love, and loss, and is as much a song for a broken heart as it is for hopeful romance. The inherent quality of this song to transcend a gamut of emotions makes it the âgo-to' audio- soothing support. Emotions are universal," he wrote.
On his wife's 36th birthday yesterday, actor Varun Dhawan penned a special note for Natasha Dalal. Taking to Instagram to share a video of him and his wife, he wrote: "Happy birthday to my caretaker. Love you forever." Dhawan and Dalal are childhood sweethearts who tied the knot in 2021. The duo is expecting their first baby. Dhawan had shared the announcement in February. On the work front, he will soon be seen on the big screen in Baby John, also starring Keerthy Suresh.
As her film Piku marks nine years since its release, actor Deepika Padukone shared a picture featuring herself, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and late star Irrfan Khan from the sets. Taking to social media, Padukone shared an image that shows a team member serving them food. "He loves telling everyone how much I eat," wrote Padukone, marking Bachchan in the post. She also shared that she missed Khan, who passed away in 2020 due to cancer in Mumbai.
