`Fukrey 3,` `Mirzapur 3` and `Main Atal Hoon` are some of Pankaj Tripathi`s upcoming releases
Pankaj Tripathi has been enjoying a stellar run at the box office with his recent film release, 'OMG 2.' In the first part, released in 2012, Paresh Rawal's atheist character was seen taking up a case against God after his shop gets destroyed following an earthquake. In the sequel, a devotee played by Pankaj Tripathi fights a legal battle against his son's school. The film also stars Akshay Kumar.
Pankaj, who is known for picking only selective roles for him, kept low key for the first quarter of 2023, with no major announcement on the work front. However, after 'OMG 2,' the actor has six more releases closely packed in the second half of the year and the early half of next year - and fans are super excited for what's to come. 1. Mirzapur 3
Mirzapur revolves around the story of Kaleen Bhaiyya, the King of Mirzapur, and the Pandit Brothers, Guddu and Bablu. As power struggles, ambitions, greed and lust collide with both parties stopping at nothing to control the city of Mirzapur, audiences witness a thrilling anarchy unfold across the screen, influencing the people, business and politics of the city. With season 3, Pankaj Tripathi will bring the gritty Kaleen Bhaiyya to life onscreen for the third time.

2. Gulkanda Tales
Gulkanda Tales is an upcoming comedy fantasy web series directed by Rahi Anil Barve. The web series stars industry bigwigs like Sahil Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Kunal Kemmu and others. While not much is known about the plot of the show, it will likely stream on Amazon Prime Video.
3. Fukrey 3
'Fukrey 3', the highly awaited installment of the famous comedy film franchise, is all geared up to launch on September 28, 2023. Not much is known at this point, but the old posse of friends and enemies will certainly be caught in bizarrely hilarious situations together, leading them to watch each other's backs through the trenches to make it out of a new accidents. Hitting at the nostalgia that comes in with âFukrey', the third installment will pack in a strong comedic punch as audiences remember the bursts of laughter they experienced with the previous two installments.
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, written by Vipul Vig, âFukrey 3' boasts of a stellar ensemble cast featuring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi and Richa Chadha reprising her role.
4. Murder Mubarak
Homi Adajania-directed Murder Mubarak will see Karisma Kapoor's return to the silver screen after 12 years. The film also has a brilliant multi-star cast including Pankay Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor and Vijay Varma.
5. Kadak Singh
It seems like Pankaj Tripathi always holds his cards close to his chest when it comes to his upcoming releases. All that is known about 'Kadak Singh' is that it revolves around a dysfunctional family. Sanjana Sanghi, who also stars in the film shared that she will play a character named Sakshi and learnt a lot from Tripathi. on set. It also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu.
6. Main Atal Hoon
'Main Atal Hoon' is an upcoming Hindi biopic directed by Ravi Jadhav, penned by Utkarsh Naithani, and featuring Pankaj Tripathi as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film's poster was unveiled on Vajpayee's 98th birthday on December 25, 2022.
