Ali Sethi is one of the few Pakistani artistes who has the power to blur boundaries and erase hatred with his melodious voice. He shot to fame globally with his Coke Studio song, Pasoori, in 2022. People across the world were mesmerised by the song and it continues to top the charts even after a year. Now, Ali is making headlines once again and this time it is for his rumoured wedding with Salman Toor.
According to unverified reports, Ali got married to Salman in a hush-hush wedding ceremony in New York City. They are yet to issue a confirmation. Due to this buzz, Ali made it to the top trends on Twitter today.
In an interview with The New Yorker in 2022 Salman said he tried telling his parents that he was gay when he was 15. "They didn't accept that," he told the publication. He added, "They said, âYou're not developed yet, you just don't know.' " Although both of them eventually came to terms with his sexuality, they did so, he said, more with tolerance than with understanding.
