Pavitra Punia to trolls questioning her relationship with Eijaz Khan: We don't need approval

Over the years, Bigg Boss has seen several couples who became instant hits -- including Ashmit Patel-Veena Malik, Sana Khan-Rajeev Paul, Gauahar Khan-Kushal Tandon, Tanisha-Armaan Kohli, Karishma Tanna-Upen Patel, Bandgi Kalra-Puneesh Sharma and Sidharth Shukla-Shehnaaz Gill among many others. This year, the season witnessed the budding love between two contestants - Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia. Their romance gathered ground while they spent time in the season 14 house.

While earlier it looked like a one-sided love story, with the sparks emanating from Pavitra's side, later Eijaz too expressed his affection for Punia. Eijaz and Pavitra shared a bitter-sweet relationship in the show but the actress slowly slipped into love mode as the weeks passed by. Though the housemates initially talked about how Pavitra seems to be hogging the limelight by using a "love" angle with Eijaz, the speculations were later put to rest, seeing Khan's getting emotional upon knowing about Pavitra's eviction. Later, Eijaz got super happy when Pavitra came to meet him on the family week.

However, Pavitra and Eijaz constantly get criticized on social media, with trolls questioning their relationship. Recently, Pavitra slammed netizens and gave it back to haters. She tweeted, "Dear trollers ... kindly stop spreading HATE and this highly unacceptable comment on my and #eijazkhan relationship. We purely love each other and INDEED we do not need the approval of "Haters" in best regards to OUR relationship. Blessed #us #pavijaz.😇❤️"

In an earlier interview with IANS, Eijaz was quoted saying the show gave him a chance to discover the love of his love. "Both of us had an exceptional journey in the ‘Bigg Boss' house. We entered with an intention to win the show. We fought a lot in the house but through those fights, we understood each other really well. We consciously maintained distance because we were there to win the game but there was a point when she felt that she should express her feelings for me and I also felt the same way," said Eijaz, about how his bond with Pavitra grew stronger during their Bigg Boss stint.

"Now I have to spend time with her as there is no option for me," he added with a laugh, hinting that the relationship was indeed permanent.

"In one of the episodes, I told her that I was slowly changing my perspective about her. After that, she got evicted from the show and I used to miss her a lot, so when I came out of the house, I spent most of the time with her, and now we know and understand each other really well," he said.
