Fans became excited to see the stars in one frame.
"Amazing. SRK caught the attention," a social media user commented.
"King Khan. I am so happy to see all of them together, especially Shah Rukh and Kareena," another one replied.
SRK's presence was undoubtedly the cherry on top.
Karan also took to his Instagram handle to share the picture and wrote: "This is us."
Serum Institute of India (SII) Chief Executive Officer and owner Adar Poonawalla and his wife Natasha Poonawalla , too, joined the Bollywood bigwigs for Sunday get-together.
Kareena recently completed two decades in Bollywood. She began her career with JP Dutta's Refugee in 2000 and became a star as years passed by. She went on to do films like Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Hulchul, Omkara, Jab We Met, Golmaal Returns, 3 idiots, Golmaal 3, Ra. One, Heroine, Singham Returns, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
She was also seen in films like Veere Di Wedding, Angrezi Medium, and Good Newwz. She's now gearing up for Laal Singh Chaddha and Takht. Takht will be Khan's second collaboration with Karan Johar where he directs the actress. This period drama, which was slated to release on December 24, 2021, has now been postponed. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, and Janhvi Kapoor.
Karisma, on the other hand, made her Bollywood debut with 'Prem Qaidi' in 1991 with the actor Harish. The film came out on June 21. In that decade, Kapoor signed one film after another and was one of the busiest actresses in Tinsel Town. Fame and stardom stepped at her doorstep with films like âSuhaag', âAndaz Apna Apna', âRaja Hindustani', and âDil To Pagal Hai', which gave her the first National Award of her career in 1998.
The one filmmaker and actor she had maximum collaborations with were David Dhawan and Govinda. With Dhawan, she was seen in films like âRaja Babu', âCoolie No. 1', âSaajan Chale Sasural', âJudwaa', âHero No. 1', âHaseena Maan Jaayegi', âChal Mere Bhai', and âDulhan Hum Le Jayenge'.
Two of her greatest performances came in 2000 and 2001 when she acted in Khalid Mohamed's âFiza' and Shyam Benegal's âZubeidaa'. After acting in the 2003 thriller âBaaz- A Bird In Danger', she took a hiatus from acting. She made her Bollywood comeback with Vikram Bhatt's âDangerous Ishq' in 2012 and her last acting assignment was in the form of the web series âMentalhood.'
