Overwhelmed by the thought of that moment, she admitted, "It was a really emotional trip because there are two sides of it for myself. Which is one film which I am so happy and so proud that I could be a part of, directed by someone like Anurag Kashyap, and then Rahul did an amazing job. So, so proud of the film... Then there is my journey and what does Cannes meant to me in my own personal journey, which is the most overwhelming part of it all because if you told me when I stepped foot in the Bigg Boss house that 10 years later, 11 years later, I would be walking at the Cannes Film Festival, I would be like, get out of here, you are out of your mind if you predicted that was going to happen."
As she opened up about her journey to Cannes, Sunny revealed, "I never want this moment to end, this feeling of accomplishment and this feeling of feeling proud, and this feeling of feeling like I made it this far. Like I never want that to go away. I always wanted to feel like this is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. So, if I cried, I cried fine."
For Sunny Leone, Cannes wasn't just about walking the red carpet or attending film premieres; it was a transformative experience, a celebration of her resilience and dedication. The festival served as a testament to her accomplishments, reminding her that dreams do come true and that she has emerged as a true icon in the world of entertainment. As she continues to bask in the afterglow of Cannes, Sunny's unwavering spirit and passion are sure to light up many more screens in the future.
