In 2016, Suhani Bhatnagar played the role of young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan's movie 'Dangal.' The film was a huge success, and Suhani received praise for her performance.

Unfortunately, she passed away at the age of 19 due to a rare disease called Dermatomyositis

Suhani, originally from Faridabad, Haryana, started her career at a young age. Her breakthrough came with the role in 'Dangal,' directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Before that, she had appeared in various advertisements. However, 'Dangal' would be her crowning achievement at the time.

The casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, mentioned in an interview with Rediff.com that Suhani was selected out of 11,000 girls who auditioned for the roles of Geeta and Babita Phogat.

He praised her purity and facial resemblance to Sanya Malhotra, who played the older Babita.

After the success of 'Dangal,' Suhani, along with Zaira Wasim, interacted with the media. The video was uploaded by a page called Viral Bollywood.

In the video, Suhani expressed gratitude for the compliments she received and hoped that the film would reach a wide audience.

Unfortunately, on February 17th, at the age of 19, Suhani Bhatnagar passed away. She had been unwell for some time and was undergoing treatment at AIIMS in New Delhi.

At the hospital, tests finally diagnosed her with dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease. The prescribed treatment involved steroids, which inadvertently weakened her body's immune system.

Suhani's mother revealed that Suhani harboured ambitions of returning to acting following her graduation in journalism and mass communication. Excelling in academics, she topped her college in the last semester

Aamir Khan's production house expressed condolences on social media over Suhani's passing. Her co-stars, such as Zaira Wasim, along with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Kiran Rao, also shared their heartfelt condolences on her untimely demise
