Actress Sai Pallavi, who is known for movies like ‘Maari 2’, ‘Fidaa’, ‘Gargi’ and ‘Shyam Singha Roy’, is all set to enter Hindi cinema. 

She has been reportedly roped in to play the role of Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. 

She will star opposite Ranbir Kapoor who has been finalised to essay the role of Lord Ram. 

The two are currently prepping for their roles in the trilogy. 

The first part, revolving primarily around Lord Ram and Sita, will end with her abduction by the demon king Raavan. 

A section of netizens are unhappy with the actress being cast. 

Many have subjected her to incessant trolling claiming that her looks do not match that of Sita. 

That being said, Sai Pallavi’s Instagram boasts of her ethnic looks that appear simply divine. 

Besides 'Ramayana' Sai Pallavi will also be seen in a film with Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan. 

A Sunil Pandey directorial, the film is touted to be a love story.
