Yami Gautam, Neha Dhupia celebrate the success of their film 'A Thursday' with a stylish bash

Yami Gautam, Neha Dhupia, Atul Kulkarni, Angad Bedi, Behzad Khambata came together last evening to celebrate the success of their film 'A Thursday'. The film released on Disney Hotstar on February 17 and received positive response from fans and critics.

Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi could be seen together at the bash. Neha, who played the role of ACP Catherine Alvarez said, "I think at that point while I was shooting, right before that I was watching this show called 'Hit and Run', starring Lior Raz, and there's a character called Tali, who's pregnant and you know, after the first two scenes, you start living her life."

The ladies in the house and the women of the moment Yami Gautam, Neha Dhupia also struck a pose together. 'A Thursday' has been set at the backdrop of a kindergarten, whose teacher, Naina Jaiswal (Yami Gautam Dhar), takes the children into hostage and starts blackmailing everyone to get her wants and demands fulfilled.

Atul Kulkarni plays a crucial role in the film. Kulkarni notes that the film, at its heart, is a drama that studies morality from different perspectives. He explains, "We have been toiling with such subjects for a few years. [With A Thursday], we have gone one step further. Many web shows from the West deal with morality. They don’t make any statement as to what is right or wrong; instead, they depict how human beings are."

This film will be Neha's first release post the birth of her second child, with her husband and actor, Angad Bedi. Opening up on her journey in her second pregnancy and how it impacted her performance, she said, "This is my second time and you don't change as a person. It is a little tough. It is uncomfortable."

Actress Yami Gautam has joined hands with two NGOs -- Majlis and Pari (People Against Rape in India) -- to support victims of sexual assault and to work for their rehabilitation. "Today with great pride I would like to share that I have joined hands with two NGOs who are constantly supporting and working towards the rehabilitation of victims of sexual assault," Yami said.
