American rock band Maroon 5 landed in Mumbai on Monday for their debut concert in India.
Led by Adam Levine, they graced the stage at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on Tuesday.
Maroon 5 started off their maiden India concert with Animals, One More Night, and an apology.
"How're you doing Mumbai? Sorry we're late, I know you guys have been our fans for a long time. But what matters, is that we're finally here," said Adam.
"Will you promise us one thing? We as a band have one rule - that this will be the best f***ing concert of your life," he added.
The band, known for their chart-topping hits and energetic performances has been a favourite across generations. Adam also invited a fan on stage, who gave him a bouquet. He sang She Will Be Loved for her.
Originally formed in 1994 as Kara's Flowers, the band has evolved into a pop-rock powerhouse.
Their debut album, 'Songs About Jane', won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2005.
Maroon 5's unique style combines catchy songwriting, clever lyricism, and adventurous creativity, redefining the modern American band.
With a career spanning over three decades, Maroon 5 boasts a diverse discography filled with infectious pop, rock, and funk tunes.

Besides Adam, other band members include Jesse Carmichael (keyboard), James Valentine (guitar), Matt Flynn (drums), PJ Morton (keyboard), and Sam Farrar (bass).
