Kulraj Randhawa: Her role as Kareena in the popular TV show Kareena Kareena was appreciated unanimously. Since then, she has appeared in a few films including Yamla Pagla Deewana, Chaar Din Ki Chandni, and Lucky Kabootar.

Apurva Agnihotri: Following a promising start to his movie career - he played a negative role in his debut Pardes - Agnihotri's filmi journey tapered off. He shifted focus to television and tasted success as the impressive boss Armaan Suri in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. His most recent show was Bepannaah, in which he played Rajveer Khanna. He even made his digital debut with Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain (2018).

Yami Gautam: She has appeared in TV shows like Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam and Chand Ke Paar Chalo. Though her Hindi film debut, Vicky Donor, centred around Ayushmann Khurrana, her role of a Bengali girl in the offbeat movie did gather praise. She starred in films such as Total Siyapaa, Badlapur, Sanam Re, Junooniyat, Kaabil, Sarkar 3, Batti Gul Aur Meter Chalu. She was seen in one of 2019's highest grosser - Uri: The Surgical Strike. She has also tasted critical and box office success with Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Bala.

Rajeev Khandelwal: As Sujal in Kahiin To Hoga, Khandelwal became a TV sensation. He was also seen in Left Right Left and continues to be a popular face on the small screen. Rajeev is among the few TV stars who have done well both in TV and films. And while neither Aamir, Shaitan, Soundtrack were big hits, his acting skills have been appreciated in all these films.

Aamna Sharif: As Kashish Garewal, she made a sensational television debut with the show Kahiin To Hoga opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. She entered films with the comedy Aloo Chaat, which paired her with Aftab Shivdasani. The film was a box office flop. Aamna did a couple of more unsuccessful movies before returning to the small screen with Honge Judaa Naa Hum.

Sanjeeda Shaikh: Sanjeeda started off her television career playing the quirky Namrata, aka Nimmo, in 'Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa' in 2006. But long before she became a household name with Nimmo, she had done a cameo in 'Baghban' in 2003. Not only did she get the opportunity to star in a film featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Salman Khan, but also got a chance to shake a leg with none other than Big B in the song 'Chali Chali'. Sanjeeda has also appeared in Bipasha Basu-starrer 'Pankh' (2010).

Prachi Desai: She made her debut with a popular daily soap Kasamh Se which had her playing the lead opposite Ram Kapoor. She has taken part in a few reality shows and has even won a season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She made her Bollywood debut as Farhan Akhtar's wife in Rock On!! which was widely appreciated. After that, she has been part of many films like Bol Bachchan, Policegiri and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. She also did an item song in Ek Villain.

Karanvir Bohra: He started his career at a young age and appeared in one of the most popular TV shows - Just Mohabbat - as a child artist. He became popular when he starred in Shararat, as Dhruv, and later as Prem Basu aka Yudi in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Karanvir also starred in numerous Bollywood films such as Kismat Konnection, Mumbai 125 KM, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi and the latest one being Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna.

Eijaz Khan: He has appeared in a number of K-serials, including Kkoi Dil Mein Hai, Kahiin To Hoga and Kkavyanjali. In films, he has been seen in Kuch Na Kaho and Just Married, but his role as R. Madhavan's friend in Tanu Weds Manu got him more appreciation.

Karan Singh Grover: His first TV show as a lead was in Balaji Telefilms' Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. The turning point in his television career was the show Dill Mill Gayye which made him a youth sensation. He also won awards for his performance in the show Qubool Hai. In 2015, Karan Singh Grover made his Bollywood debut with the erotic-thriller Alone opposite Bipasha Basu and went on to star in Hate Story 3.

Purab Kohli: He won hearts with his performance in the much-loved TV show Hip Hip Hurray. Purab went on to host shows and turned VJ too. He made his Bollywood debut with Bus Yuhin (2003) opposite Nandita Das. He has since acted in films like My Brother... Nikhil, Bas Ek Pal, Woh Lamhe, Awarapan, Rock On!!, Shaadi Ke Side Effects and most recently Mission Mangal. He has also done a lot of digital shows.

Pulkit Samrat: Remember the innocent and naive Lakshya Virani from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? Pulkit Samrat has come a long way from his television debut in the Ekta Kapoor serial. He made his Bollywood debut with Bittoo Boss in 2012, but gained wider recognition after Fukrey released in 2013. He has also appeared in Jai Ho, O Teri, Dolly Ki Doli, Fukrey Returns, Sanam Re among other films, and was last seen in the multi-starrer comic caper Pagalpanti.

Gurmeet Choudhary: He rose to fame playing the role of Lord Ram in the TV series Ramayan (2008) which won him many awards and appreciation. He also participated in several reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Nach Baliye 6 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 5. He made his Bollywood debut with Khamoshiyan in 2015. He later starred in Wajah Tum Ho, Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana and Paltan.

Mona Singh: The Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin actress has never looked back since making a successful debut on television as a Plain Jane. She played the female lead in the family drama Kya Huaa Tera Vaada. In between, she hosted a number of reality shows and has even won a couple as a participant. Her role as Kareena Kapoor's elder sister in 3 Idiots was well-received. She was also seen in Sachiin Joshi, Nargis Fakhri-starrer Amavas.

Sushant Singh Rajput: He became a household TV face playing Preet in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Manav in Pavitra Rishta. His popularity and acting skills landed him a key role in Kai Po Che!, the film based on Chetan Bhagat's novel 3 Mistakes of My Life. Needless to say, there was no looking back for SSR ever since.

Shruti Seth: Starting as a VJ, she moved to acting in TV shows, namely Kyun Hota Hai Pyar, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand and Shararat. She also hosted the comedy show Kahani Comedy Circus Ki. Seth did brief roles in Fanaa, Ta Ra Rum Pum, but it was her bold cameo in Raajneeti that grabbed eyeballs.

Vivan Bhathena: He started his TV career with Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He went on to act in serials like Kumkum, Chhoona Hai Aasmaan, Maayka, Chand Ke Paar Chalo and Pyaar Ka Bandhan. He made his Bollywood debut in SRK's Chak De! India. He also played supporting roles in Karthik Calling Karthik, Katti Batti and Hero. He will also be seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi.

Shenaz Treasury: Once one of the most popular VJs on Indian television, Shenaz has moved on to do notable roles in films like Ishq Vishk and Delhi Belly. She keeps hosting shows on television, in genres ranging from comedy to travel.

Sonal Sehgal: Following her soaring popularity after shows like Saara Akaash and Hotel Kingston, Sonal landed a number of film assignments. These included Radio and Aashayein, but both films failed to find favour with audiences. Sonal hasn't been seen on the small screen in recent times.

Ram Kapoor: Seen in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kapoor is most remembered as Jai Walia from Kasamh Se. On the big screen, he made a mark as Rajat Barmecha's considerate uncle in Udaan. Since then, he has been seen in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Agent Vinod, Humshakals, Student of the Year, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, Baar Baar Dekho, among others. He was last seen in Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain's LoveYatri.

Farida Jalal: Once Rajesh Khanna's bubbly heroine in Aradhana, Jalal has featured in innumerable films in a career spanning nearly five decades, mostly in supporting roles. On the other hand, she has done memorable roles on television in popular shows like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Dekh Bhai Dekh, and Balika Vadhu.

Ronit Roy: After a film career that never took off, Roy shifted his focus to television and gained fame with his roles in shows like Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasamh Se and Kasauti Zindagi Kay. His film career received a new lease of life following his much-appreciated negative character of a tyrant father in Udaan.

Shekhar Suman: Despite debuting opposite Rekha in the 1984 film Utsav, Suman's career hit a roadblock pretty soon. He found solace in television, and soon became a popular actor, following his portrayal of a bumbling character in Dekh Bhai Dekh. His comic acts in Movers And Shakers enhanced his fame. Shekhar Sumar hasn't been seen on the small screen in recent times.

Navin Nischol: He could have been the next big thing in Bollywood following successful films like Sawan Bhadon and Buddha Mil Gaya. However, his filmy career went downhill after that. The late actor is most remembered for his character of the sensible son Balraj Diwan from the popular 90s TV sitcom Dekh Bhai Dekh.

Nakuul Mehta: The good looking Mehta debuted on the big screen with Haal-e-Dil, which was a box-office failure. He featured in a number of commercials post that, and played the main lead in the Rajshri-produced TV show Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara.

Vivek Mushran: Remember this chocolate hero from Saudagar? Mushran couldn't cash in on the film's success and gradually shifted attention to the small screen. He did roles in Son Pari and Kittie Party. His character of a caring father and husband in the family-based show Parvarrish received a good response. The actor was last seen in Veere Di Wedding (2018).

Aditya Shrivastava: Best known as Senior Inspector Abhijeet from the never-ending television series C.I.D., Aditya has done prominent roles in Anurag Kashyap's films Black Friday and Gulaal. He also played bit characters in successful films like Bandit Queen, Satya and Saathiya.

Sameer Kochhar: The popular anchor of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kochhar made his Bollywood debut with Mohit Suri's Zeher. It was as ACP Shekhar Malhotra in Jannat that his acting skills came to the fore. He was seen in the TV show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, in which his character of Rajat Kapur was appreciated.

Amit Sadh: He started his career in showbiz with TV show Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr over 17 years ago and paved a path in Bollywood with Phoonk 2 in 2010. Amit Sadh has completed a decade in Bollywood and since then, he has been entertaining the audience with his versatility. Some of his notable roles include Omkar in Kai Po Che! and Raghubir Pratap Singh in Gold.
