The Women Entrepreneur Show is back in its tenth edition and will feature diyas, sarees, paintings and more
The Women Entrepreneur Show is back and Dina and Vinod Vallicha, who have been organising it for the last 10 years, have planned it on a larger scale this time. There are three pavillions which includes the Women Entrepreneur section, the Karva Chauth section, Diwali and Divikriaa Pavillion.
Dina, who is the brain behind the exhibition, says that since they have a larger venue this year, they have planned a bigger show. "We always faced a lack of space and this venue suited us. We have received a great response over the years and it was the right time to upscale the celebrations," she said.
Participants include Laila Motwane (Mumbai), Alankrit (Lucknow), Deepalika (Bhubhaneshwar), Ninja Fashion (Delhi), Ayushi Jalan (Kolkatta), Kashmir Heritage who will sell shawls and carpets and other designers from across the country. Puneites who will take part include Fashion Express, Ninad Pottery, photographer Hemant Patil whose photos resemble paintings, Urma Shaikh and Lee's Creation who will exhibit handcrafted diyas, Twigs, Rhea Bitthar showcasing cocktail sarees. Art collector Shweta Tiwari from Art Avenue will exhibit paintings of Buddha. The Divikriaa Pavilion includes Dilip Chhabria's paintings, Atelier, RMX Joss, Institute of Asthetics & Spa, AARYA24KT, Ecospaces and Hansgrohe.
City-based luxury stylist Diviya Aggarwal from Divikriaa, points out that the reason for joining the show was because the organisers were looking at upgrading the show. "The show is going at different levels with major brands being exhibited," she said. But the show will not just stick to fashion and brands but will also focus on social service. Dina adds that the amount they get from the Karva Chauth and Diwali pavillion will be given to Arun Ahray, a home for abandon children. Along with those who visit the exhibition can also win the lucky draw and exciting prizes.
