Pratik Utekar with Karan Johar
Bigg Boss OTT has been the talk of the town ever since its launch on Aug 8, from its contestants to its host. This season is the first time ever in the history of Bigg Boss, to be launched 6 weeks before the television version on an OTT platform Voot.
The opening night of Bigg Boss OTT was special with the host Karan Johar and contestants making grand entry dancing to hit beats choreographed by celebrity choreographer Pratik Uthekar. Pratik was seen choreographing opening acts for all contestants along with the grand act for Karan.
As a Bigg Boss Premiere night tradition of showing the house's first look to the audience by the host, the digital season's host, Karan had to do it in his own style. He was seen doing the house tour parodying the classic K3G (Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham) format but the Big Boss way! Later he made a grand entry on the stage dancing to the mashup of his hit songs like Radha, It's the time to disco, and so on. Sharing his experience Pratik highlights, Karan is a fast learner and gets the steps and motions quicker than the other housemates.
Apart from the host Karan performance, all the other premier night acts of contestants were shot 7 days prior to entering the house. The opening night also had a special performance by guest Malaika Arora, who was finalised only a day before. "It was a challenge to choreograph Malaika ma'ams act overnight, but ma'am pulled the act so well adding more glamour to the grand night", says Pratik Utekar sharing his experience of choreographing the act overnight.
