Three people were injured after a man accidentally opened fire while cleaning his gun in Thane district of Maharashtra, the police said on Saturday.
According to the police, a firing took place in Hanuman Nagar area of Thane district on Saturday evening at around 5.30 pm. In the incident as many as three people were injured and rushed to Thane Civil Hospital.
"The incident took place in Chamunda fabricators company in Wagle Estate of Thane," an official said.
The Srinagar Police officials rushed to the spot following the incident.

The police said that the man identified as Mohammad Amir Shaikh who had a licensed weapon intended to clean his revolver but accidentally fired a round which left three people injured.
The injured were identified as Mohammad Umar Shaikh (50), Bipin Jaiswal (21) and Rahul Jaiswal (23) injured, official sources said.
The Srinagar Police officials are further probing the matter.
