A 17-year-old girl was molested by a stranger at KEM Hospital on Friday evening. A case has been registered against an unknown person at Bhoiwada police station in this regard.
According to the police, the complainant is a minor and her mother is undergoing treatment at KEM Hospital. She was in the ward with her mother on Friday.
When the girl's mother was undergoing dialysis, a man approached her and told her that the government would get her mother treated under state-sponsored schemes.
He asked her to come with him to process the formalities. The girl started walking with him. But seeing that no one was there, he tried to hug her. As soon as the girl protested, he ran away. A case was registered against the stranger after she told the police what had happened. Police have received a photo of the accused and are searching for him.

Senior Inspector of Police of Bhoiwada Police Jitendra Pawar told Mid-Day, "We are searching the accused by registering an FIR in this case."
