Sena chief wants IPL owners to boycott Australian players


Sena Supremo Bal Thackerayu00a0has said that Australians should not be allowed to play cricket in India if the attacks on Indians continue Down Under. He also appealed to the owners of Indian Premier League (IPL)u00a0teams to boycott Australian players.

Explaining Thackeray's stand,u00a0Sanjay Raut, Senior Sena MP andu00a0editor for Saamna, said, "Balasaheb wants the Indian owners of IPL team to remove the Australian players because, those players who earn money from us, are not at all in support of the Indians being beaten in Australia. Removal of the Australian players would be tit for tat.''


Thackerayu00a0hasu00a0praised actor Amitabh Bachchan for taking a nationalistic stand and refusing to acceptu00a0an honorary doctorate from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
