The Mumbai Traffic Police on Friday said that there would be traffic restrictions on some roads around Siddhivinayak temple in Prabhadevi on January 10 for Angarki Sankashti Chathurthi.
A traffic notification issued by the police said that on account of Angarki Sankashti Chathurthi there will be a huge congregation of devotees at Siddhivinayak temple and it will affect traffic on the roads in the vicinity of Siddhivinayak temple. Hence it is necessary to make an order for traffic management on the said road.
The notification issued by Raj Tilak Roushan, DCP, Traffic, Mumbai said, in order to prevent danger, obstructions and inconvenience to the public, traffic on the following roads will be affected-
- S. Veer Savarkar Road.
- S. K. Bole Road.
- Gokhale Road south and north bound.
- Kakasaheb Gadgil Marg.
- Sayani Road.
- Appasaheb Marathe Marg.

In order to minimize pressure of traffic on the aforesaid roads following traffic restrictions have been imposed temporarily on January 10 from 06.00 hrs. to 24.00 hrs. In case of necessity for the safety of devotees the restrictions may be increased, the notification further said.
Roads to be closed-
- There shall be no entry to all types of vehicles on S.K. Bole Road from Gokhale Road
- There shall be no entry to all types of vehicles on Datta Raul Road and N. M. Kale Road from Gokhale Road
- There shall be no entry to all types of vehicles on S. K. Bole Road from Agar Bazaar Junction.
- Entry on S. K. Bole Road shall be allowed from Siddhivinayak Junction only.
- There shall be no entry to all types of vehicles on Shankar Ghanekar Road from Leningrad junction.
