In a major dip, Mumbai reported 7,895 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC's) daily bulletin.
The city had reported over 10,000 cases on Saturday.

About 84 per cent of the new patients are asymptomatic and 11 deaths were reported in the city. About 57,534 tests were done in the last 24 hours, as compared to 54,558 tests on Saturday.
Over 21,000 patients were discharged on Sunday.
