A speeding car sent a motorcyclist multiple somersaulting into the air up to 10-feet high after a head-on collision in Vasai last week, but the cops are yet to register an FIR into the horrendous accident.
The distressing footage saw the 29-year-old victim Aniket Coutinho flipping three full circles up to 10-feet high in the air before he crashed down thudding onto the road, where he rotated 360 degrees before lying motionless. 'It was horrible!' recalled an eye-witness while talking to mid-day.
The onlookers, who were left surprised after the horrendous accident, took nearly 34 seconds to lift the injured motorcyclist.
The terrific accident took place in the Bangli area of Vasai West which has a great community spirit to help each other. The onlookers, who were shocked to witness the brutal accident on February 15 night, rushed to the rescue. "I had never seen such an accidentâ¦he literally somersaulted into the air before tumbling onto the ground with a loud thud," said a local resident requesting anonymity.

Coutinho, who runs a small garage in Vasai, has been battling for life with multiple fractures at a private hospital in Mira Road.
Aniket's younger sister told mid-day that his leg and shoulder had been badly damaged. "He has got multiple fractures on his legs and shoulder. He is still unconscious," she lamented.
When contacted, the senior inspector of Vasai Gaon police station Ranjeet Andhale said, "The FIR is yet to be registered as our investigations are going on. The motorcyclist is unconscious."
"Both the vehicles were in opposite directions, and there is no divider on the road. The car driver and the victim are the residents of Vasai," said the officer.
