The Western Railway (WR) on Friday said that it will carry out a jumbo block on Sunday.
In a statement the WR said, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a jumbo block of five hours will be taken on Up and Down fast lines between Andheri and Borivli stations from 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
According to the press release which was issued by Sumit Thakur, CPRO of WR, during the block period, all UP and Down fast line trains will run on slow lines between Andheri and Borivli stations.

Due to block some Up and Down suburban services will remain cancelled and some of the Borivli slow trains will run up to Goregaon in harbour corridor.
"A detailed information to this effect is available with concerned station masters. Passengers are requested to please take note of the above arrangements," the press release said.
