According to the police, the prime accused's daughter was alone at home and had called the deceased, her boyfriend, to meet her there. The girl's brother arrived home and after receiving no response to his knocking at the door, forced it open and found the two together. He then called his father, and both of them assaulted the teen with an iron shovel and other items.
According to the police, the complainant, Maina Khatun Ali Shaikh, 28, a resident of Patilwadi in Panvel, said the incident occurred around 3.30 pm on Sunday. She claimed that the deceased Samir Abdul Shaikh, was her nephew. "Samir's friend Aliya Yusuf Shaikh called him over to her house.
