Three persons were killed in a collision on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Bhor Ghat on Friday morning, officials said. According to a report in ANI, eight persons were injured in the accident.
Per the ANI report, the accident happened after a truck going on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway lost control due to brake failure and hit two vehicles--a car and a tempo carrying chickens. The incident took place at around 4 am.

The injured have been rushed to a hospital in Khopoli for treatment, the ANI report added.
