The decision to install bulletproof glass comes after a shooting incident outside the building in April 2024, which raised concerns about his safety. The bulletproof glass will ensure that Khan remains safe while interacting with the public from his residence.

A high-tech CCTV camera system has been set up outside his home to monitor the road and detect any suspicious movement. Razor wire fencing is also being added around the residence as part of the upgraded security measures.

The actor had received threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the past, which contributed to the need for increased security. In June 2024, Navi Mumbai Police uncovered a plot to kill Salman Khan when he was travelling to his farmhouse in Panvel.

Khan already benefits from 24-hour police protection, which has been reinforced following the security breaches. The recent security measures were put in place by a private contractor hired by Salman Khan to further enhance his safety.

The move to strengthen security follows another security breach in December 2024, when an intruder entered a film set where Khan was shooting. On the professional front, Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sikandar’ is set for release during Eid 2025, adding to his busy schedule with other projects like ‘Kick 2’.
