The civic officials said that the fire was reported at a house in Anand Nagar area of Kopri in Thane (East)

After receiving the information the officials from the disaster management cell, fire brigade and civic authorities rushed to the spot

The fire was found to be confined to the refrigerator, washing machine, TV, cupboard and plastic items in the house. The equipment's were damaged in the blaze, the officials said

A 20-year-old man, who was present in the house when the fire broke out, was later shifted to a hospital in Thane after he complained about having difficulty in breathing

The civic officials said that the fire was completely extinguished by emergency management personnel and fire brigade personnel at around 3:40 pm

A cooling operation was launched by the officials after the blaze was completely put off, the officials said
