During their visit, the students met police personnel of various ranks
The students were accompanied by their teacher. They had an interaction with the officers to learn about the day-to-day functioning of the police and the steps they take to keep the city safe
The students felicitated the police personnel with roses to thank them for their service
They also received information on the weapons used by the police
The students listened attentively to the presentation made by the police personnel on the weapons
They were also taught about 'Good touch' and 'bad touch' to help protect them from abuse
The Foundation Day of the Maharashtra Police was celebrated at various parts of the state to honour the service of the police force
Various events were held in Maharashtra on this occasion
