A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence here on Tuesday. The family of the girl claimed that she was allegedly insulted by her college teacher, who questioned her about her deceased friend's relationship, said the Circle Inspector of the Kukatpally police station.
The body of the deceased was shifted to a government hospital for postmortem and a case has been registered under section 174 of the code of criminal procedure (CrPC).
Further investigation is underway.
