Seven persons trapped in a vehicle that toppled due to inclement weather conditions were rescued by the Army in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Devender Anand said that the passenger vehicle had toppled on the Mughal Road around 5 pm on Saturday due to sleet and left seven persons trapped inside.
"Jawans from the Poshana post in Rajouri district swiftly reached the spot and rescued the trapped passengers. They were given first aid and refreshments. The passengers thanked the Army and the area people who came to their rescue."
