Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L K Advani on Monday expressed his desire to retire from politics.
He made this remark during a visit to the Udupi Pejawar Math here, Swami Vishwesh Teerth, the spiritual leader of the math, said.
But he advised him not to be away from politics.
The swami said, "He (Advani) came here on a religious visit. While chatting, he expressed his desire to retire from politics. But I suggested him not to take any hasty decision," the swami said.
