Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel celebrated the 69th Republic Day here on Friday with great pomp and pageantry as she hoisted the tricolour.
At the Lal Parade Ground, the newly-appointed Governor also inspected the parade and took the salute at an impressive march past.

The Indian flag was also unfurled in other parts of the city against the backdrop of patriotic songs and rallies.
The Chief Minister's residence, Raj Bhavan, the offices of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress also saw flag hoisting ceremonies.
