After a five-day China trip, Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa landed at Bangalore International Airport 1.45 am, this morning. Home Minister VS Acharya was at the airport to receive the CM.
Soon after landing, Yeddyurappa spoke to the media about his China trip.
Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani along with 12 others had accompanied Yeddyurappa to an international business meet that was organised by the World Traders' Forum in Shanghai.
"It was fruitful, much beyond my expectations." The CM also expressed his joy over the BKP winning an assembly seat in the by-election.
He said, "I am happy with the results. We won in Kadur but lost the Gulbarga seat to the JD (S) candidate. We will find out what went wrong in Gulbarga."
When asked about the Medical Education Minister Ramachandra Gowda's resignation over his alleged involvement in the two state-run medical college recruitment scam, Yeddyurappa said that he'll accept Gowda's resignation and will forward it to the Governor.
