Four people were killed when their vehicle skidded into a ditch along an under-construction road in Gurgaon on the outskirts of the national capital, police said on Monday.
The incident occurred on the Badshahpur-Sohna road late on Sunday night when the car occupants were returning after attending a wedding at Sohna, over 10 km from here.
"The vehicle was speeding and they appear to have missed the diversion board. The vehicle, a Honda CRV, fell into a big ditch, which was dug to construct a culvert," a senior police officer said.
All the four car occupants died instantly. Three of them have been identified as Dinesh, Ameer Singh and Kamal Sharma, while the fourth is yet to be identified.
