It's that time of year again, when a bunch of management students get together to host the Cultural Hungama Sports and Management Meet (C.H.A.S.M)!
Organised by the students of Bharatiya Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, the fest sees participation from management institutes across the country. "Last year, the events were more sports and entertainment-related, while this year the focus is on management-related activities," says Pravin Mane, faculty member and head coordinator, CHASM.
He adds that the three-day long cultural fest that kicks off today will be lots of fun with an equal amount of "brain-racking" activities thrown in for good measure.
No matter where individual interests might lie, there will be something for everyone, is the assurance that CHASM organisers guarantee.
The line-up includes AdMat, a spoof on popular ads, a business quiz titled Men of Wit, Best Out of Waste in which participants make something of value from waste and a mock parliament: Two Wings.

The sports' line-up will have table tennis, cricket, badminton, and chess.
Highlights include the dance competition Kaleidoscope and the fashion show Manifestation that will both be held on the last day of the cultural fest.
The institute will also give away a special honour to one of its students for outstanding overall academic performance.
"The idea is for students to have fun. It is a great learning experience as it teaches them the importance of teamwork. The ability to get along in a team is a quality that is crucial for any manager to succeed," adds Mane.
