Two months after the shocking incident of a family of four committing suicide over financial issues, another family ended their lives in a similar manner.

Amol Kamble, employee of Axis Bank and residing in a posh locality at Sus Road, strangulated his 28-year-old wife Veena and two-year-old daughter Akruti before hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his flat No 202 at Shradhha Terrace in Shivalaya Estate.

The maid informed the society watchman who then contacted Anuradha Kamble (60), Amol's mother staying in the same area, who immediately reached the spot.

According to police, the watchman Ambadas entered the flat from the balcony of the adjacent flat and found Amol hanging from the ceiling fan in the drawing room and Akruti was found lying on the diwan.

Family shocked
Ambadas said, "Kamble was very social and was always nice to me. He even gave me bonus this Diwali. I don't understand why he took such an extreme step."

Anuradha was shocked and unable to control herself and said, "My entire family has been wiped off," she said.

Senior PI Mahadev Chavan of Chatushrungi police station recovered a suicide note on the refrigerator in the kitchen.

Chavan said, "Amol has written that he has taken the lives due to frustration, family disputes and financial burden. Also, he has requested not to blame anyone for his death.
