If you have a dog you adore and want to pamper silly, WHAT's ON tells you where you can get them customised clothes and travel bags

Kiran Kulchandra has come up with a number of petcare solutions which promise to make life easier for you. She designs chic carry bags and made-to-order clothes for dogs. "Pets are very much a part of a family and we cater to anyone who loves their dogs enough to pamper them like this," says Kiran.

An owner of a Maltese herself, Kiran explains the purpose behind the store. "If I dress well, I want my pet to look good also," she quips.

The bags cater to small breeds such as Maltese, Chihuahuas, miniature Schnauzers, poodles, pugs, Yorkshire terriers, Pinschirs and Pomeranians. The fabric used for the bags is called Nafa, which is made of cotton and nylon. The bags come in bright colours and can also be custom-made.

Speciality: Their travel bags are especially designed keeping the comfort of the pet in mind. They have pockets for the pet to place their paws in, and are made of net, so that that the dog can breathe freely. These bags are accentuated with golden zips for a chic look, side pockets, seat pads and inside hooks for the pets to be locked. Feel free to carry these like as hand baggage, as these bags are officially approved to be carried in planes while travelling. The bags cost between Rs 460 to Rs 700 depending on the order.

Kiran uses cotton and silk to design the pet clothes as the fabric is comfortable. The colour is dependent on the customer's choice and the borders are edged with golden thread and designer beads. For the clothes, you may have to dish out Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,700. You will have to wait a week before the clothes and accessories are delivered.
