Mere Khwabon mein jo aaye (MKMJA) deserves two stars for two reasons. Randeep Hooda and his looks. This movie talks about life, music and a person's choice to be happy. But in the whole process, director forgot it can be a torture to the person watching this movie. An extremely slow plot and forever cribbing and sympathy-seeking Raima Sen will drive you nuts. Definitely not a good re-launch for Mr Hooda after the power-packed performance in the D.
Maya (Raima Sen) and Vikram Singh (Arbaaz Khan) are not so happily married couple, who live with their daughter Priya in Delhi. Vikram is a jealous chauvinist, who treats Maya like a door mat and is having an extra marital affair. Maya who apparently is gifted with a good voice stops singing after her marriage to Vikram and is a housewife and does nothing the whole day. Story somehow survives till here. But after this Randeep Hooda (Jai) comes to the scene. He is Maya's dream and doesn't exist in reality. He is her dream and she falls in love with her own dream and the movie ends her being a super singer. Phew!
This whole drama will make the audience want to tear themselves apart. Raima is indeed a brilliant actress and the movie doesn't do any justice to her skills. She talking to her own dream becomes unbearable after some point and you definitely feel like a nightmare! Arbaaz Khan has to try! Please try adding some emotions to your face. After all it's acting what you are doing!u00a0 The movie is super slow andu00a0feels like eternity by the time it ends. And when you get out of the theatre a feel good factor invades you to see the actual real world outside and the "nightmare".. oops "the dream" didn't last long!
