Billionaire businessmen Mukesh Ambani and Azim Premji will be meeting US President Barack Obama on Friday.
The interaction of Reliance Industries chairman Ambani and Wipro chief Premji with Obama, who assumed office less than a month ago, comes in the backdrop of the global financial turmoil.
Ambani would be accompanied by his wife Nita. When contacted, an RIL spokesperson confirmed that Ambani, along with his wife, would be meeting Obama today. The meeting is scheduled to be held at around 9 am American time.
Reportedly, both Ambani and Premji are part of the 'The Business Council' delegation. The council is an association of prominent chief executives from different organisations across the world.
